Dear everyone,
 I have informed you of the lady, Miho Wilson, who has been studying the
Bible through the correspondence course.  She was debating with herself
which church she should attend.  She had made up her mind to attend churches
of Christ just because I am a member of church of Christ.  However, after
she started to attend Misawa church of Christ on Misawa Base, she changed
her mind.  It sounds like she does not fit in the congregation.  She was not
impressed at the Bible study.  Anyway she has decided to attend Calvary
church on base.  After she has finished all of the correspondence courses I
have made for non-Christians, she told me that it was a big turning point
for her life to take the courses.  Although she has not made up her mind of
becoming a Christian, she said to me she would probably after a while.  She
has agreed to study the Bible with me through email, because now I am making
the new correspondence course “Growth of a New Christian.”  In Spring she
will move to Iceland with her husband, an Air Force man.

Keeping in touch with all the mailers who send me email has been much more
than I expected.  Eventually I have to let Mari do all the corresponding
work with mailers.  This has been a big chunk of work for me.  Locally we
still work with all the visitors who attend our Japanese worship service and
come to study the Bible in English.  We are hoping we will bring all of the
students to our Japanese worship service.  In order to do this, Mari is
going to attend those English Bible classes with those Japanese people and
become their friend.  (I could attend those classes, but my attendance could
make the American teachers uneasy.)  Since most of the students are female,
we think it is easier for Mari to get to know them that for me.

I have been working on the plan of moving to a different location.  I need
you to continue to pray for this.  I really need God’s providence and
guidance concerning this matter.  We always appreciate your support and
prayers.  Thanks.
