This year is about to come to an end. People here talk about a "2000" problem and the 21st century all the time. I think most of them do not understand where the word millenium comes from. Our attempt to start a Japanese worship service has finally begun to get going. Although our number is very small, we have been blessed with a regular visitor every week. Along with the attempt to have a regular a Japanese worship service, we have a LST program LST in which 4 volunteer American teachers from the Yokota congregation teach 9 Japanese men and women about the love of God through the use of English. I have not written you over a month. I thought I would have big news. I have been waiting for the big news. That is, "we moved to a different location and now have a new church building." That has not happened yet. We are now in the process of negotiating with possible buyers of our property. If we have sold our property, we will move to a different location. In that property, there is a three-story building, which has 6 apartments on the second and third floor. Those rooms can be used as classrooms and fellowship rooms. On the first floor there is an open space which can be used as auditorium. We have been praying that God's will be done. If the Lord wills, we would like to move to that location. In future, I would like to improve my web page, http://www2.tky.3web.ne.jp/~christ4u Right now the web page is not interactive. I hope people can open the page, choose a question from a list of questions I put on, and get an answer for each question they chose. That is my ideal and dream. In order to do this, I need to study computer more. I have finally finished my correspondence course ( the beginner, the intermediate, and the advanced). In future, I also make a book out of this course and distribute it to as many people (both Christians and non-Christians) as possible. All the glory and honor belong to the Lord Jesus Christ. May God's light shine in your life. Love, Masa and Mari
