Dear Christian friends,
Hope you are well and see the grace of God every day.  We are relatively well, but last a few weeks both our boys got sick, which got me slow down in my work.  Since many people (non Christians) are desiring to study the Bible through Internet, I provide them with correspondence courses.  By the end of this year, I will finish an intermediate course and start working with an upper course.  I hope much more people all over Japan will know and touch the grace of God through taking the Bible correspondence courses.  Because many of them read the Bible for the first time or have a misconception about Christianity, I need to teach them in an accurate, concise and easy manner.  This is a big task.

Although I tried to have a regular Japanese worship service on Sundays, I have failed sometimes because we did not have any visitors.  Five Japanese beside us attend an English worship service on Sunday morning.  All of them are non-Christian.  I would like them to attend a Japanese worship service on Sunday afternoon, but they remain in English service.  In the past we had only one visitor for a Japanese worship service.  About four weeks ago, the number of visitors increased up to two.  Since then we have a constant attendance of three (two visitors and me) in the Japanese worship service, which is quite encouraging to me.  My present goal is to increase the number up to ten.  This is a worthy goal.  But if God is leading the seekers of God's will, that is not impossible.

Today I applied for a public apartment.  Last year and two years ago I was not qualified to apply for this.  This will be decided by drawing because so many people apply for this.  If we are accepted, Mari does not have to work.  I simply pray that God's will be done.

I will continue working hard because God is working in me.  "God will work for good of those who love him."  I trust in this word.  I always thank God for your support and prayers.  May God give you grace and love more and more.

In His Service,
Masa Nonogaki
