(Masa-October 1998 report)
Dear Christian friends in the
world,
Hope God continues to bless you richly. In the end of
September, Yokota church of Christ has a congregational meeting. Before
the meeting, I had proposed that I would concentrate on working with Japanese,
which is my mission purpose. I had proposed that the congregation would
reduce their support for us. At the same time, I had made a request that
they would support me as a missionary. They decided to support me.
But they also decided cut the covering of my working expense - such as expense
for attending monthly preacher meeting. I am glad to report this. I have made my mission purpose clear to
the congregation. From now on, I do not need to do a second guess.
I have just put a home page on the web.
This web is for non-Christians only. It is made to reach out to
non-Christians and teach them about the love of God. Since I do not
plan to make an English version, you cannot understand it. However, please
take a look at it. It consists of the main page, the difference between
"religion" of Christianity and the Bible, Q & A, correspondence
course, counseling, a message from the Bible, introducing the church and
me. If you have happened to know some Japanese, please direct them to this
home page.
Lately I have come to realize the importance of
prayer more and more. I should have known it much earlier. Last week
I studied Luke 11:5-13 and Luke 18:1-8, where Jesus taught me persistence in
prayer. Just as Luke 18:1 says, I ought to always pray and not lose
heart. I need God's help more and more. May I be faithful to his
will. I also pray that God will richly bless you. May God's peace be
with you. Hope in the next report I will have more things to write.
