Dear Christian friends in the world,
I hope this finds you on all the mend.  We are in the midst of raining season.  We have a rainy day or cloudy day lately.  This type of weather will go on until the middle of July.  Let me describe my latest activities.  (1) I write a monthly article on the book of Job for the Christian magazine, Fukuinn, until November.  (2) I will write an article on "God is one"for the August issue.  (3) In the October issue, I will write an article introducing Yokota church of Christ the Christian magazine.  I need to research how the Yokota congregation started back in 1958.  (4) Also, this summer I will attend Ibaraki Christian workshop as one of the morning devotional speakers.  (5) In the rest of the time, I have been studying the Bible with Japanese either in English or in Japanese.   In next report, I would like to let you know what evangelistic  work I am doing with Japanese.  I hope I can introduce a couple of them to you.

My main concern and prayer item has to do with our church building.  Our church building has been deteriorating lately.  Last fifteen years long before I came to work with the Yokota, the members discussed how to build a new church building.  The discussions have never been put in practice.  We are right now considering moving to a different location.  It is difficult to find a good spot which satisfies both the American congregation and the Japanese congregation.  We are now also considering raising support from all the congregations we know in Japan and in the U.S.  Please pray for us that God will lead us in this plan.   In His service, Masa Nonogaki
