On the bio-organic side, working on analyzing the cytotoxicity and DNA-alkylating characteristics of the azinomycins and a variety of partial structures. Current research concentrates on analyzing the sequence selectivity of these drugs by reaction with a plasmid fragment, piperidine cleavage of alkylated DNA at the guanine N-7 lesion, and sequencing by PAGE.
