The
"Chemistry-Biology Interface Training Program" at The Ohio State University
was established in 1995 as an interdisciplinary training program, although
not a degree-granting program. There are four participating "units" coming
from three degree-granting programs: Organic Division of Chemistry Dept,
Biological Division of Chemistry Dept (both are part of the Graduate Program
in Chemistry), Ohio State Biochemistry Program (OSBP - an inter college
graduate program), and Division of Medicinal Chemistry (part of the College
of Pharmacy). All trainers and trainees must be a member of one of these
participating units.
