blank How do I create PDF files from programs on the lab machines in 2105nw?

From any of the Googlegear machines in the lab, from any application, such as Word, Powerpoint, or any other text editor or program, you can create an Adobe PDF file:

If you want to create a PDF of the document you are currently working on, from any application, choose File > Print.

Select Adobe Distiller as your printer and print your document.

A window will pop up, asking you where you would like to save your document as a PDF. Select your U:\ drive, or any other convenient location to save the document. Distiller will grind away for a moment and, voila!, the file it saves will be a PDF version of the document on which you are working.
