DHCP Setup for Windows NT

- From the Start menu, select Settings, choose Control Panel.
- Double-click on Network.
- Click on the Protocol tab.
- Select TCP/IP and click Properties.
- Select Obtain an IP address from a DHCP Service.
- Click on the DNS tab.
- Host: same name as NetBIOS name.
- Domain: clear all entries.
- DNS List: clear all entries.
- Domain Suffix Search Order: Clear all entries, then add "chemistry.ohio-state.edu".
- Click on the WINS tab.
- Primary and Seconday WINs: clear all entries.
- Click OK for the TCP/IP Properties window.
- Click OK for the Network window.
- Restart your computer.
