Subject: newer versions of pine, pico and pilot available
 
 We have upgraded the email program "pine", the editor "pico" and the file
 system browser "pilot" on the chemistry Unix server and all assimilated
 Sun-Solaris, IBM-AIX and SGI-IRIX machines:
 
   chemistry / Sun-Solaris:
 
 	pine  4.02A (default) 	--> 	4.10
 	pico  3.2		-->	3.5  (new default)
 	pilot 				2.0  (new)
 
 
   IBM-AIX:
 
 	pine  4.02A		-->	4.10 (new default)
 	pico  3.2		-->	3.5  (new default)
 	pilot				2.0  (new)
 
    SGI-IRIX (5.3 and 6.*):
 
 	pine 				4.10 (new)
 	pico  3.0		-->	3.5  (new default)
 	     (2.5 for IRIX 5.3)
 	pilot				2.0  (new)
 
 We will change the default for pine on chemistry shortly.
 
 If you want to use a specific version of any of the above commands, simply
 use a command of the form
 
 	pine.4.10
 
 or enter the name of the command, followed by the TAB-key to see the
 possibilities (command line completion in tcsh).
