Look for the Science Extra Point during football games

If you attend a home football game this year, be sure to watch for the MAPS Science Extra Point on the scoreboard. The Science Extra Point is a question that is related to a MAPS department and runs as an animation during a timeout. The first Science Extra Point of the season appeared on the scoreboard early in the second quarter of the Cincinnati game. The question was:
Approximately how many footballs fit end-to-end on a football field (not including the end zone)?

  1. 250
  2. 300
  3. 325
  4. 375
  5. 400
