James Cowan, professor of chemistry, won the American Chemical Society's 2004 Akron Section award.
Caucus for Women in Statistics calendar now available
The Caucus for Women in Statistics has produced a calendar for 2004-05. The proceeds will be used to support the K-12 poster project competition for girls. The calendar features unique pictures and biographies of 12 women statisticians who served as president of the Caucus for Women in Statistics.
