University of Alberta (Canada) The Alberta Lipid Utilization Program (ALUP) at the University of Alberta seeks highly motivated doctoral graduates interested in working with soft lipidic materials. a. Ph.D. in Materials or Condensed Matter Physics. Experience with theoretical and experimental aspects of X-ray diffraction a must. Modeling experience, and experimental skills in imaging and mechanical properties would be an asset. Fundamental knowledge of thermodynamics is essential. b. Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry.
